Let’s talkBusiness advisory & thinking partnership
I work alongside you to understand what’s happening, find worthwhile opportunities, and help put good decisions into action.
How we work together
The opportunity might involve profit, pricing, operations, offers, partnerships, messaging, sales, customer experience—or removing unnecessary work. We start with your business and what you want from it.

Let’s talk02 · Business Opportunity Assessment
I review your answers to a business questionnaire and study relevant information about your business, customers, and market. I identify three worthwhile opportunities, with research explaining why they’re worth considering.
Together, we choose the direction that best fits your goals. You receive the findings and an initial action plan explaining what to pursue, why it matters, and the main steps involved.
This is a paid engagement, with the work, timing, and fee agreed in advance. You can use the findings and initial action plan whether or not we work together further.
Explore the assessment03 · Optional development project
Once we choose a direction, we can agree on a separate project to develop it. I can research the specific opportunity, shape the offer, develop the creative concept, and write the agreed copy.
I then turn that work into clear instructions for the people bringing it to life. That might include a brochure brief for a designer, outreach messages for a salesperson, or training on how to explain the offer.
You receive the agreed materials and a detailed plan showing who does what next.
The work, fee, and any outside costs are agreed before the project begins.
04 · Optional continued support
If you want continued support, I can help you review results, work through decisions, improve the messaging, and adjust the approach as you learn what works.
Continued support is optional. We agree its scope and fee separately.
I help turn the chosen direction into a clear plan and useful materials—from research and offer development to copy, creative direction, and training. I can brief your designer or other specialists and review the work with you. Your team or chosen partners then bring it to life, with clear roles and review points agreed together.
That can mean writing the words for a brochure, giving a designer clear instructions, and reviewing the design together.
The assessment helps us decide which opportunity deserves your attention and outlines the main steps. If you’d like help developing the copy, materials, training, and detailed instructions to carry it out, we can agree on a separate project.
Our clients experience what happens when their time, money, and effort are focused on the right opportunity.
We investigate where those resources can make the greatest difference, then create a plan around the goals that matter most to the owner.
Here are three examples from our client work.
A restoration and construction company repaired water and fire damage and provided mold inspection and remediation services. We helped the company build relationships with doctors’ offices serving patients with lung and breathing concerns.
The offices agreed to share informational brochures about mold and indoor air quality. This focused approach brought the company dozens of new, high-quality referrals each week for mold inspection and remediation work.
We also helped train the client to handle those sales conversations more effectively. Within 30 days, their close rate increased from about 15% to more than 70%.
An OB-GYN practice asked for our help. Our research revealed that women often felt uncomfortable before their first visit. We also learned how valuable a lasting patient relationship was to the practice.
That gave us a clear focus: make the experience more welcoming from the beginning.
We helped reshape the waiting room into a relaxing environment with coffee and tea, access to aesthetic and spa services, including laser treatments, and a separate place where children could play.
The most successful campaign we ran was creating a fun and inviting “mother daughter health day” visit where moms brought their daughters in and not only did they get a welcome bag with fun and educational goodies in it - and a spa gift card for both of them, but they received a personal invitation for the visit that was far more warmly received than just some direct mailer or ads.
We also developed a color-coded brochure showing how the practice could care for patients through different stages of life. The message centered on feeling cared for and having a doctor who knew you by name.
Patients began telling friends about a practice that felt welcoming and enjoyable to visit.
A professional bookkeeping business already had loyal clients who referred others. We helped the owner build on that strength with quarterly client-appreciation parties.
Clients could relax, enjoy themselves, and introduce friends and business associates. The events later included a panel of small-business experts, giving guests another useful reason to attend.
The gatherings attracted rooms of 40 to 70 people and became events people in local professional circles wanted to attend. They created a valuable setting for new referrals, stronger relationships, and conversations with potential clients.
Individual client experience. Results are not guaranteed or typical.
Every project starts with the business and the owner’s goals. These examples show the kind of work we might develop together.
We could research spas that serve the women the practice wants to help, then develop a useful nutrition offering those spas could include in their client experience. I could write the outreach messages and pitch materials, then train the salesperson, the owner, or a team member to explain the offer. With those pieces in place, the practice or its salesperson could approach the spas and build the relationships.
We could develop a women’s nutrition workshop, write a tri-fold brochure, and give a designer clear instructions for producing it. The plan could identify 50 suitable doctors’ offices to approach, explain how to invite them to share the workshop, and show how to track inquiries. The client would review, approve, and proofread the final materials before printing.
Illustrative examples. Each project is shaped by the research, your goals, and the scope we agree together.
Good work starts with a good working relationship. Here’s a little about the owners I tend to work best with.
